Join us for our Open Evening - Wednesday 28th June

6.00pm - 8.00pm

Wednesday 28th June 2017

Skegness Grammar School is one of England’s oldest grammar schools, with a reputation built upon both our heritage and our commitment to embracing new and exciting ways to help our students excel in the modern world.

Since the school was founded by the Lord High Chancellor of England over 500 years ago, we have offered a strong all-round education for many thousands of students.

Welcoming students from Year 7 through to Sixth Form, we are also proud to have a dedicated boarding community.

Our principle aim is to deliver academic excellence, encouraging students to become respectful, confident, articulate and motivated young people, who take responsibility for both their own learning and their role within society.

Alongside this, our students benefit from an outstanding range of opportunities. From international expeditions and debating competitions, to visits to the country’s leading universities and scholarships and bursaries, every day our students are building their awareness of the wider world and stretching their potential.

At the centre of the school is our house system, which encourages students to work together for the benefit of their wider community. We also offer a caring and supportive environment, which includes dedicated transition mentors who are on hand to provide peer support for Year 7 students from preparing for the 11 + right through to their first few months at Skegness Grammar School.

More of our students than ever before are heading to some of the country’s top universities following their time with us, opening up a wealth of possibilities and helping to raise aspirations and shape characters.

Stronger grades, grasped opportunities and enhanced self-confidence are just some of the benefits for every one of our students.

Ensuring students leave Skegness Grammar School as young people the whole community can be proud of is the cornerstone of the education provided here.

We look forward to welcoming you very soon.
