Sixth Form students at Skegness Grammar School enjoy expert tuition, a multitude of opportunities for personal growth and development, and care, guidance and support to help them through two challenging and exciting years.
They leave ready to face the future – their future, whatever they decide it shall be. We take great pleasure in each and every success. We are very proud of them.
Jay Sturman, Associate Deputy Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form
Students follow an academic curriculum of four subjects at AS Level in Year 12, and three or four at A Level in Year 13. Lessons are challenging and designed to stretch students beyond their perceived limits, to reach their full potential. Students are offered strong support from Sixth Form tutors in all areas of Sixth Form life. Alongside academic attainment, our Sixth Form places great importance on producing well-rounded, independent young adults. We include a wide range of sporting and extra-curricular activities alongside academic studies. Students are able to take a self-sufficiency course to help fully equip them for their future after school.
