Sixth Form

We would love to welcome any prospective students and their families for a personal tour. If you would like to come and see what our Sixth Form is really like, please call our reception on 01754 610 000. Limited dates left.

Sixth Form students at Skegness Grammar School enjoy expert tuition, a multitude of opportunities for personal growth and development, and care, guidance and support to help them through two challenging and exciting years.

They leave ready to face the future – their future, whatever they decide it shall be. We take great pleasure in each and every success. We are very proud of them.

Students follow an academic curriculum of three A Levels, with the opportunity to study the Extended Project Qualification or a fourth A Level for our more able students (decided on a case-by-case basis). Lessons are challenging and designed to stretch students beyond their perceived limits to reach their full potential. Students are offered strong support from Sixth Form tutors in all areas of Sixth Form life.

Alongside academic attainment, our Sixth Form places great importance on producing well-rounded, independent young adults. We include a wide range of sporting and extra-curricular activities alongside academic studies. Students engage in a Careers Information, Education and Guidance programme to help fully equip them for their future after school, regardless of their chosen paths.
